How to Apply Stage 3: Decision Process

Once your proposal has been reviewed by your program officer, it will be considered by one or more internal decision-making groups. These groups work to see that our total portfolio of grants is both high-quality and strategic, with respect to our goals.

This stage of the process may take several weeks, depending on the complexity of any questions that are raised. Finally, major projects will be reviewed by the Foundation's Board at one of their scheduled meetings.

If we decide at any of these stages that we will not support your project, you will be notified promptly. If the project is approved, you will receive a formal written notification.
