Behavior Methods in Aging Funding Guidelines
Funding is generally limited to projects that are in keeping with the stated objectives.
Goal:
Behavior methods that can modify and manage caregiver performance will result in significant changes affecting aging people in a way that can dramatically improve their quality of life.
Objectives:
- Train caregiver behavior that changes the dynamics of the relationship between cared-for and the caregiver in a way that brings meaningful satisfaction and value to both.
- Improved attitude and self-esteem that brings excitement and energy to the task of caregiving.
- Build pro-active ability to anticipate need through strategic behavior of observation.
Organizations seeking funding must qualify under the regulations of the United States Internal Revenue Service.
Requests will also be considered to assist:
- Behavior management companies
- Technology that enables aging solutions
- Schools, colleges and universities that have a significant focus on behavioral research in aging
- Private companies whose efforts are to build a network of innovative and skilled individuals and institutions committed to research and development focused specifically on the stated objectives.
- Purchase licensing rights on known or existing intellectual property or know how.
Requests will not be considered for:
- Financial aid, fellowships, individual study or travel grants
- Capital building projects
- Individual Long-term Care Facilities
- Schools, colleges and universities outside the United States.
