Religious Initiatives in Aging - Funding Guidelines
Funding is generally limited to projects that are in keeping with the stated objectives.
Goal:
To support religious communities in their need to provide aging services, including the design and construction of new care facilities.
Objectives:
- Build a renewed respect for religious communities in their viewpoints about aging, values and moral interests.
- Share strategies and information with secular long-term care efforts engaged in the mutual tasks of supporting incentive based quality of life.
- Research aimed at an understanding of the contributions of the religious lifestyle to quality aging.
Organizations seeking funding must qualify under the regulations of the United States Internal Revenue Service.
Requests will also be considered to assist:
- Capital building projects
- Schools, colleges and universities with Religious Affiliation
- Private businesses that provide research and solution services aimed at training caregiver staffing.
Requests will not be considered for:
- Schools, colleges and universities outside the United States.
