The Elder LifeCare Foundation (ELF) serves the public interest by providing information, policy solutions and support for civic life. Based in Reno, Nevada with a branch office near Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland, the foundation was established to "improve the quality of life," and does so by contributing to the generation of new knowledge through its support of fact-based research and practical solutions for challenging issues of aging. In September, 2006, after many years of careful planning, research and development, ELF began its fundraising initiatives, the final step to launching its quality of life solutions. Our ambitious undertaking to enable and restore quality of life for today's aging people and future generations will require continuous stream of funding. Our goal for the year beginning in September 2007 is to raise $500 Million. Work toward that goal has brought together funding and financial advisors from all over the Globe. For several months, Founder and Visionary, Bill Lenhard traveled extensively throughout Europe on speaking engagements and developing contacts to move the Foundation's project agendas forward.

The Foundation has community commitments to fund projects in Sydney, Australia, Canada, the Costa Rica and select countries in Europe. As a result of our funding achievements, two initiatives have commenced in the Spring of 2008:(1) the elders of Blood Nation, Siksika and Blackfeet tribes (Native Americans) in the region of lower Alberta Canada and northwest Montana and (2) an elder research project that will lead to elder quality of life solutions for Costa Rica. Included in the Costa Rica project will be a training, research and full service hospital dedicated to state of the art solutions in the areas of geriatrics and oncology.

And, to more effectively and efficiently serve the needs of the broader global communities, two entities were established in March, 2008 (1) Elder LifeCare Foundation, International and (2) ELF Trust Company. Both companies are now headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland.
