Elder LifeCare Foundation (ELF) is a powerful advocate for issues that compellingly affect quality of life dilemmas facing aging people. On national and international levels, we engage researchers, thinkers and technical experts who are leaders in the fields of aging. From the basis of rigorous understandings, ELF directly enables focused interventions aimed at delivering critically needed solutions to people confronted with aging crises. Our purpose is to provide comfort, to put a smile back on Mom's face, to ease the pain of elder depression and anxiety and wherever people are helpless to restore hope. ELF enables the solutions to energize quality of life.

Process

The most important agenda facing the World today is the quality of life for people throughout the continuum of aging. Over the past seven years, preparations and steps have been taken to bring a new focus on the issues of aging. Worldwide, a critical need exists that requires a strategy, courage and leadership. Our objective is to energize strategies focused on solutions to return citizens to the pathway of quality of life. By focusing attention on aging, resources of the private sector can be mobilized to affect major changes, inform and guide the process of restoring an enthusiasm for incentive based, striving behavior.

Western society today looks upon elders as an entity separate from the rest of the general population, rather than viewing people on a continuum of gradually increasing support needs with declining physical and mental resources, the elderly citizen is seen as being somehow different, somehow less than others merely because of his advanced age.

Age brings a continuous stream of consequences. Increasing frailty, cognitive declines and changing circumstances of health conspire to make life more difficult for us as we age. At some point, support needs outweigh social tolerance and patience. And since social training has brought an expectation of compliance and dependency, we become less active, even to the point of delegating away the power of choice to decide our own destinies.

ELF supports private sector organizations of highly specialized professionals ready to implement strategies to restore and support quality of life. Through our initiatives, ELF will enable societies to understand and sustain programs and businesses designed to erase the pain and uncertainty that accompanies the aging process.

2. Home Health Support Services – Support services are provided that specifically offset the physical and mental debilitating challenges of aging.

   • Non-Medicare Covered Orthopedic Procedures (shoulder, knee and/or hip replacements and accepted medical procedures considered "experimental" by Medicare)
